Also I see a lot of people not knowing how often to work there muscles and the answer is hit them hard once a week so they have an entire week to recover and grow bigger and stronger so you never risk over training which can actually make you lose muscle mass so try to avoid this the best you can. If your muscles are still very sore don't continue to work them until it goes away.

Eventually you will out grow the beginner weight training program and move onto something bigger and more complicated but, for now stick to the basics and you will start seeing results in the next couple weeks.

Sphincter weakness can occur in women after they have had pelvic surgery or men after prostate surgery. Stress incontinence is common in women who have had multiple pregnancies and vaginal childbirths, or those who have pelvic pro lapse which is the protrusion of the bladder, urethra, or rectal wall into the vaginal area, with cystocele, cystourethrocele, or rectocele.

Stress urinary incontinence is one of the most common types of urinary incontinence in women. There are many risk factors for stress incontinence such as having sex, aging, childbirth, smoking, and obesity. The risk of stress incontinence is increased if you have a condition that causes chronic coughing such as chronic bronchitis and asthma.

Occasional urinary incontinence is quite common in women. In fact studies have shown that nearly half of all women have occasional urinary incontinence and one in ten women experience frequent incontinence. It becomes more common as you age. Almost twenty percent of women over the age of seventy-five have daily urinary incontinence.

A person must have the psychological and physical ability to recognize and respond to the urge to urinate. The ability to hold urine is dependant upon normal function of the lower urinary tract, kidneys, and nervous system. The urination process involves two phases starting with the filling and storage phase which is followed by the emptying phase. During the first phase urine fills the bladder with liquid from your kidneys.

Your bladder stretches to accommodate for the increasing amounts of urine. It is estimated that the first sensation to urinate occurs when you have about 200 ml of urine in your bladder. A normal functioning nervous system will respond to the stretching sensation by alerting you that you need to urinate while allowing your bladder to continue to fill.

An average person has the ability to hold about 350 to 550 ml of urine. To be able to fill and store urine properly you are required to have a functional sphincter muscle, control of the output of urine from the bladder, as well as a stable bladder wall muscle also known as the detrusor muscle. The emptying process requires the ability of the detrusor muscle to correctly contract force urine out of the bladder, as well as the ability to be able to relax the sphincter to allow the urine to exit the body.

reflects a dormant stage and normally new hairs are regrown

back to phase 1 is when hair thinning starts to happen
because new hairs are not regrown to replace the lost hairs
thru the normal hair cycle.

Currently there are only a minimal amount of FDA approved
treatments to combat hair loss.

These two treatment plans are Finasteride and Minoxidil.
However there are no absolutes in the area of hair growth.
That's why there are a lot of experimenting still going on
to this day to find out how to combat hair loss. With so
many issues concerning the human body head of hair, there
are as many variations of treatments to use.

Herbal treatments are another way for hair growth.

What type of herbal treatments are available?

Well considering that one thought process that your scalp

What Causes Infertility and What Can YOU Do?

The moment where you find out that you are not able to have children can be a very devastation moment to both the man and the woman. The Myths Behind How To Get Rid Of Stomach Fat

Ask anyone about how to get rid of stomach fat, and you'll get as many answers as people you ask. The problem is that there are so many myths regarding weight loss, and particularly how to get rid of stomach fat, that it's hard to separate fact from fiction. I'm going to try and do just that.

First of all, doing thousands of crunches, situps, planks, or any other kind of killer abdominal workout, just isn't going to do the job. While it will strengthen your core muscles, and that's a really good thing, it's not going to get rid of that layer of fat on top of those amazing looking abs. All the abdominal exercises in the world won't get rid of that.

When you get right down to it, the only way to get rid of fat is to consume less calories than you expend. The calorie is a measure of energy, and different kinds of food can be converted into a certain number of calories for your body's energy needs. Excess calories are stored as fat. When you have a deficit, your body uses those fat stores for its energy needs.

So it would seem that simply not eating anything at all for a few days would be the quickest, sure-fire way to burn away that fat. Well, not so fast. As it turns out, if you crash diet, your metabolism slows down thinking that food is scarce and that it needs to conserve. You have your caveman ancestors to thank for this. What you need to do is to have a small deficit for many days.

It takes about 3500 calories to equal one pound of fat. Many people consider a healthy weight loss amount to be around 1 pound a week. Put that together and you need about a 500 calorie deficit each day. This, in and of itself, is not just how to lose stomach fat, it is how to lose all fat. It turns out that you will lose it evenly throughout your body, not just in one area.

The next thing to watch is what you eat. Foods high in sugar, including alcoholic beverages, get converted to energy very quickly. They also get converted into fat very quickly if you are not using the sugar. The sugars found in fruits and vegetables burn slower than the sugars in candy and soda, so they don't pack on the pounds as fast. Remember that the next time you feel like reaching for a candy bar or soda.

Of course, exercise also has many positive benefits. In addition to helping you feel better and increasing your cardiovascular health, exercise burns calories, which can help contribute to weight loss. Some people love to walk, others ride a bicycle, and still others swim or jog. The type of exercise is not really important, it's the fact that you get out there and do something for at least 30 minutes, 4 times per week.

Resistance training, or weight training, is also a great form of exercise in addition to one of the more aerobic forms listed above. Weight training has the added benefit of keeping your metabolic rate elevated while your muscles do their repairs from your workout. Not to mention the fact that you can shape up other parts of your body to complement the amazing 6 pack you are going to have.

When you get right down to it, the right combination of diet and exercise is how to get rid of stomach fat, or any other kind of fat. Don't get wrapped up in the hype surrounding some new pill or fad diet. The rules of biology will not change and you will always need to spend more calories than you take in.

I Do Cardio Every Day, Why am I Not Losing Weight?

Your goal, to lose weight. Your solution, reading while on a treadmill or reading while doing the elliptical and reading while riding the bike on the lowest level. Let me give you a scenario:

The other day, I walked in on my roommate who happened to be on my exercise bike. He was playing the playstation while, slowwwly pedaling away. Later that day, he came to me and asked why he hadn't lost any weight? My reaction,"Ummm...??" Exactly, I didn't know what to say. Earlier that day, I'd saw him playing a video game while doing cardio. "What's wrong with this picture?" His heart rate couldn't have been 10 points above resting!

Are you one of those people that do something I mentioned in the above? Are you curious as to why you're not losing weight? Well, I have 3 possible solutions for you!

1) Caloric deficit and diet

Here's the obvious, you need to burn more calories than you take in. There are a 100 methods you can use to calculate this. Personally, I'm not a calorie counter but, I'm not going to give you some method to calculate the "PERFECT" caloric requirements for you. What I will say is this, "Your diet must change!" It's really that simple and you need to eat WHOLE FOOD. Now, I'm also not going to tackle a precise diet here but, I will say one thing though, It should consist mostly of whole foods. Example: lean meats, complex carbohydrates, and vegetables and some fruit. Remember you should be eating around every 3 hours (INCLUDING BREAKFAST). You're meals should be slightly smaller than normal. This means you could very well be consuming the same amount of calories, but more spread out during the day. That means you get a constant flow of nutrients for your body throughout the day.

2) Cardio

Say you do one of the types of cardio I mentioned above. If you are one of those people that pace themselves for 30, 45 or even 60 minutes on a machine and wonder why you're not losing weight, here's your answer:

If you're morbidly obese and get tired after walking for 10 minutes you will be doing yourself a great deal of good by pacing yourself, but why? Think about this, you're doing cardiovascular exercises and you're trying to elevate your heart rate. If you aren't sweating or breathing a little hard, you are NOT elevating your heart rate enough to do jack. Instead of spending an hour doing cardio, "UP YOUR INTENSITY!" Do sprinting paces mixed with jogging paces and if you can read while you're doing cardio, "YOU ARE NOT DOING CARDIO." Now I will say this, at first you can go a little slower, but when things seem a little easier, "UP THE INTENSITY!" You have to push yourself to see results! When you're done with cardio, you should be breathing hard (pre cool down) and sweating. I don't care if you don't sweat, "YOU BETTER BE SWEATING YOUR ASS OFF!"

Have you ever tried solving a puzzle? Once you solve a puzzle, it gets a little easier the next time. The more practice it takes, the less time you'll spend doing the puzzle. This is kind of like when you do any type of exercise (CARDIO included). Your body gets used to the stimulus and it doesn't feel like it has to adapt, so it doesn't. Hence that results in you burning less calories because your body knows what to expect. Change things up and it doesn't matter how.

One day use a bike, one day run around the track, one day walk at an incline, one day use the eliptical. I'm not saying you have to do something different every day, but at the minimum changes the speeds, times, and types of exercises every couple of weeks.

3) Weight training

When overweight people only do cardio to drop fat, it is very possible for them to lose the weight. Usually when this happens, they get what a lot of us like to call the "skinny fat". Sure, you've lost the weight but, you're still worried because there is no definition. You've still got fat and no muscle underneath to give you some shape. That's one of the MANY reasons I always recommend weight training in addition to cardio and a proper diet.

Another major reason you should weight train if you are trying to better your physique is that more lean muscle means a higher metabolism. That in turn, means you'll be burning more calories while you're sitting on your butt. That's a good thing! No, you don't get bulky just from lifting weights. People that look "jacked," spend a lot of time on their diet and weight training regime. It's not easy and doesn't happen just because you work out and eat moderately healthy. It is typically a carefully planned endeavor, so in the end you're burning calories while lifting weights and more so even after your done. Because at the end of the day (figuratively speaking) you'll have more muscle and a higher metabolism. You'll be skyrocketing your fat burning potential.

The Easiest Way Ever To Burn Fat, Flatten Your Stomach And Tone Your Abs

Now, if you are fighting the battle of bulge and you really, really want to lose weight, then you might want to sit down calmly for a few minutes and list down what your "weight loss philosophy" is. How do you think anyone should go about losing weight ?

Do you feel ...

a. They should go on a crash diet, starve themselves for weeks

b. They should spend every waking hour on the treadmill and "just sweat it out"

c. Perform abdominal crunches till they are blue in the face

d. Get all the fat sucked out of their body by methods like liposuction

Or do you think the answer should be all of the above?

Well, if you are to do two or more of the things mentioned in the list above, you sure might lose some weight. No restrictions whatsoever.

And you will have to quit eating ALL junk foods, processed foods, meats, poultry, fish and all dairy products. And you will want to give up drinking soda, alcohol, beer and anything else that harms your body.

So here it is in a nutshell - eat delicious fruits and vegetables all day long, whenever you feel like eating. Feeling depressed ? Grab a fruit to eat. Feeling low ? Drink two large glasses of delicious vegetable and fruit juices. Feast on delicious fruits, vegetables, nuts and sprouts like there is no tomorrow. Eat like a glutton without the slightest guilt. These foods are good for your body.

Give up eating all kinds of junk food and processed foods, meats, poultry, all dairy products, fish and the like.

That is all there is to losing weight and staying in great shape. All you have to do it is make it your lifestyle. Your body might thank you for it in ways you would not expect.

Living A Healthier Lifestyle By Having Fun

Getting in shape and living a healthier lifestyle does not have to be all hard work. You can have some fun and still get in shape. The images most people think of when they are trying to exercise are hard work and sweat. Did I mention sweat? You can add a little fun to your exercise program and before you know it you will be in better shape.

Adding variety is a good way to think long term when it comes to exercising. There are so many ways to exercise besides your normal trip to the gym. You just need to open your mind up to creative possibilities. This does not have to cost an arm and a leg either. Look around and you will probably see all kinds of ways to have fun and exercise. This article will look at some different ways to get in shape while having a good time. That is a combination that is hard to beat.

Take some time each day to play with your kids. Children are full of energy and you will have to move a little to keep up with them. You can shoot basketball or play catch. It really does not matter so much what you do as long as you are doing something. If you do not have children of your own, hang out with some friends or relatives that have kids.

Try taking a walk with someone you care about. You can catch up on the latest news while you are taking your stroll. This is a great way to stay up with what is going on in other people's life. You can walk a long way without even realizing it when you are having fun.

If you are married try to plan some activities with your spouse. This can be a great way to bring the two of you closer together. Playing tennis or even walking through the mall will add up if you do it regularly.

Swimming is a good way to get in better shape because it happens to be something that will help keep you in shape and is a lot of fun.

Cutting grass may not be a lot of fun but it can count as exercise. Knowing that you are getting more fit by working on your yard can be very rewarding.

Joining a local sports team such as a softball or basketball league is a wonderful way to stay in shape. Sports can help keep your mind and body sharp. Many people stay in top shape by this one simple activity.

As you can see exercising does not have to be all work and no play. Each day try to think of some simple way to get your body moving. Before you know it you may notice good things like your energy level increasing and your cloths are not as tight.

I know what you’re thinking. Effective weight control, I wish! What if I told you I have discovered seven simple steps to living at your ideal body weight for the rest of your life? Would you like to hear more about it?

If you’re like over 90 million Americans today, effective weight control is just an unrealistic dream. Why? Because they’re clinically obese. Do you have challenges with weight gain? Do you "always" eat until you’re full…and then some? Is uncontrolled weight gaining a major concern for you now? Have you searched for other solutions only to come up empty? If so, I’m not surprised.

Losing weight is one of the most difficult challenges an overweight person can have. Unfortunately, for so many, losing the weight isn’t nearly as fun as gaining the weight was. It requires a great amount of discipline, self motivation, and perseverance.

Many people take the wrong approach to weight loss. They spend thousands of dollars on one weight loss program after another one, never finding anything that really works.   • Don’t concern yourself with needing to lose a lot of weight quickly. As far as weight loss is concerned, slow and steady really does win the race. Remember, you probably didn’t gain the weight in two weeks, so it’s certain it will take longer than that to lose it.
  • Get a workout partner. This step is critical because of many factors. First, accountability will keep you from making excuses or even taking days off. Second, you both will stay motivated as you are working out and losing weight together. Third, you can reward one another when you’ve reached certain goals.
  • Educate yourself. If you will be successful with your new decision, inundate your mind with materials on living healthy. Read books that will inspire you to stay on course without deviating. Reading the success stories of others gives us confidence that weight loss is possible for us as well.
  • Develop persistence as a way of life. Decide now not to ever quit. If you break the diet and eat McDonald’s one day, don’t give up. Tomorrow is a new day. You are in control of this thing called life. Get back into the ring and keep fighting until you are the champion of your weight.

    Menopause - Is ERT Right For You?

    "Is estrogen replacement therapy right for me?" This question has resounded a million times among women undergoing menopause. The rigors of this event that occurs in every woman's life can be so overwhelming that nearly each one might definitely put up a plea for help. And fast!

    There are many ways to deal with the symptoms of menopause but estrogen replacement therapy is considered to be one of the most effective treatments there is. The issue whether estrogen replacement therapy or ERT is the right course of treatment for dealing with the symptoms of menopause remains unclear. With all the controversy surrounding ERT, most doctors and patients alike seem to shy away from it.

    There is no doubt that ERT can effectively address hot flashes and vaginal dryness as well as prevent the onset of osteoporosis. However, some studies indicated that it may likewise increase the risk of developing breast and uterus cancer.
